An internet booking engine from Supranational Hotels has gone live after a six-month trial period with existing hotel members.

New functionality specifically for agents and corporate bookers includes personalised private access to a secure microsite to handle the management of group bookings.

The booking tool links seamlessly with hotel central reservation systems to check rates and inventory in fewer steps, providing the end-user with a simplified booking process.

It supports connections with Google Hotel Finder, metasearch engines such as Trivago, and services like TripAdvisor’s Trip Connect to assist hoteliers in driving more direct bookings to their own websites.

Multi-language rich content and a multi-currency booking tool are incorporated in the booking engine which is expected to be used by more than 200 hotels within the portfolio by the end of 2015.

Benefits to hoteliers include the ability to create a customised booking engine that visually reflects and protects the integrity of their own brand and style, options to up-sell and add value to bookings through dynamic packaging, promotion of special offers redeemed with specific rate codes and dedicated pre and post-stay emails to stay in touch with their guests.

Supranational managing director Cho Wong said: “Our internet booking engine has been redeveloped as part of a strategic investment plan to upgrade and advance our existing technology platforms.

“Investing in this new sophisticated technology supports our reputation for delivering products that strengthen the business opportunity for our members.”
