TripAdvisor has made its second acquisition within a matter of days with a deal to take over UK-based Tripbod.
The London-based travel community helps connect travellers to local experts.
It delivers to relevant recommendations direct from local experts.
Tripbod employees will move to TripAdvisor’s London office following the deal, for an undislcosed sum.
It follows TripAdvisor acquiring holiday rentals site Vacation Home Rentals last week.
TripAdvisor global product senior vice president Adam Medros said: “The Tripbod team understands the important role a strong community plays in helping travellers plan and have the perfect trip.
“Both companies have a shared vision when it comes to delivering on that promise.
“We are pleased to welcome Tripbod to TripAdvisor as we work together on future developments.”
