GoEuro will offer a dozen new routes to UK consumers after signing 12 new deals in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.

GoEuro will offer a dozen new routes to UK consumers after signing 12 new deals in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.

The travel search company, which already has agreements with transport providers in the UK, Germany and Spain, has brought extended the routes offered by existing partners and brought in an additional four rail and five coach operators.

Eurostar and coach company iDBUS have expanded their services from the UK, joining coach routes already offered by NEX.

The new train partners are SNCB (Belgium), NS and NS HiSpeed (Netherlands) and CFL (Luxembourg).  TGV and Thalys (France) services have been expanded.

iDBUS, Student Agency, Brussels City Shuttle (Flibco), and AirExpressBus are the new coach operators.

They join existing partners Eurolines, National Express and Bestbustravel that operate in the Benelux region and provide services on a number of international routes to the UK, France and Germany.

Naren Shaam, the chief executive of GoEuro, said: “The [Benelux] region is a hub of rail and coach travel throughout northern Europe.

“[The deals] dramatically increase our reach; not only in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, but by connecting the Continent with the UK via Eurostar and providing service deep into France with TGV.

“This expansion means we offer service on all major transportation modes for journeys greater than one hour from the three countries.”

Shaam said travellers would for the first time have the ability to compare air, rail and coach options in the GoEuro system.
