Tara Xavier has moved from lastminute.com to become UK and Ireland sales manager at travel comparison site Kayak.

Tara Xavier has moved from lastminute.com to become UK and Ireland sales manager at travel comparison site Kayak.

The former agency account manager will be responsible for growing advertising revenue from media agencies and direct suppliers.

Her appointment follows Kayak announcing plans to launch in eight new countries across three continents, as well as continuing to expand across Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

Senior sales director Gareth Walton said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Tara on board. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Kayak, which will really help us grow our brand presence in the UK and Ireland.”
