TTE Preview: Multicom to showcase upgraded Powersearch

Multicom has enhanced its airfare shopping system by including scheduled and net fares for the first time.

Multicom has enhanced its airfare shopping system by including scheduled and net fares for the first time.

The upgrade comes ahead of next week’s Travel Technology Europe trade show at Earls Court, London where delegates will be shown the new system.

Multicom said the upgrade, building on its low-cost and charter inventory, will mean PowerSearch will improve both booking search accuracy and speed.

PowerSearch is being used by Multicom’s three largest customers: Thomas Cook, Tui and Lowcostholidays.

But the Bristol-based company says it is confident it can grow that customer base further.

Multicom managing director John Howell said: “Next month’s TTE show provides the ideal platform for us to unveil these new developments and an opportunity for potential customers to see for themselves how PowerSearch can benefit their business needs.

“Having the ability to improve the speed and accuracy of searches will help drive conversions to new levels while providing a host of other benefits for our customers.”
