Expedia president and chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi is to give the opening keynote address at next week’s Business Travel Show in London.

His presentation – ‘The Future of Travel: Celebrating 20 Years of the Business Travel Show with a Look at What the Future Holds for the Travel Industry’ – will take place at 9.50am on February 4 at Earls Court 2.

Khosrowshahi said: “I am honoured to participate in the 20th anniversary of The Business Travel Show.

“From mobile devices and reward points to thoughts on mixing in a bit of fun while travelling for business, my aim is to share insights from our Future of Travel Report to help conference attendees streamline the process of buying and booking business travel.”

Event director David Chapple said: “We are delighted that Dara will be delivering our opening keynote during such a milestone year for the Business Travel Show.

“When it comes to understanding how the travel industry works and how to create and maintain a successful business within it, this man knows it all, and the opportunity to hear what he has to say and learn from his experiences is a real coup for our conference delegates.”
