The 50th anniversary of Doctor Who is being marked by Ebookers with a guide to some of the iconic sets for fans to visit.
A different location for each of the 10 ‘Doctors’ has been selected to celebrate the diversity that the cult sci-fi series has to offer, ranging from Cornwall and Kent to Seville and New York.
The online agency’s marketing manager Jessica Craker said: “Doctor Who has an incredible legacy and Ebookers.com wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Doctor by helping ‘Whovians’ travel to some of the show’s iconic filming locations.
“We sadly can’t offer a Tardis but we do have some great train and flight offers as well as some great hotel packages to make your trip one to remember.
“The beauty of Doctor Who is how it captures the minds and hearts of multiple generations so no matter where you book, domestically or internationally there will be fun for the whole family.”
The company’s hotel expect Julia Mighall added: “There are a lot of great hotels both domestically and internationally for ‘Whovians’ to choose from.
“We would recommend staying in AD Place Hotel Venice to follow in the footsteps of Matt Smith and the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, located at the Dam Square to relive scenes from Arc of Infinity.”
