The deal will see the company expand from Italy to reach consumers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Sweden and Turkey.

Gabriela Mendoza Rohde, head of business development at Bravofly Rumbo Group, said: “Advances in technology and the global economy have conditioned consumers to be significantly more price savvy in recent years.

“Whatever the product or service, shoppers want to get the best deal and this is starting to dictate the future of the travel industry and our marketing digital strategy.

“By partnering with Tradedoubler, we are able to make the most of both their European network of publishers and their in-depth insight into the modern travel industry, to give our customers the best price deal.”

Jon Lord, group director, corporate clients at Tradedoubler, added: “Price comparison sites play a key role in the travel consumers’ user journey and subsequent purchase path.

“Instead of trawling through the many different airline sites, many consumers are choosing to research and buy through sites like Bravofly, with wide choice and the best prices consumers can buy in confidence, on the basis of value as well as convenience.”
