A connection to GTA’s Supplier XML Application Program Interface (API) has been made with TravelClick.

The API gives channel managers, intermediaries and hotels a seamless point of access to GTA’s systems.

TravelClick has incorporated the API into its EZYield Channel Management platform, giving updated rates and availability to tens of thousands of travel-selling businesses using Kuoni-owned GTA’s booking systems.

GTA global sourcing and product development senior vice president Martin Jones said: “Our partnership with TravelClick gives their customers an easy way to put their latest rates and availability in front of tens of thousands of travel clients around the world.

“Hotels rely on TravelClick’s solutions to make it easier for them to work with a wide range of distributors like ourselves and manage rates and allotments to present the most enticing offer to potential travellers.

“Now, our Supplier XML API makes it even easier for TravelClick to connect to our systems, helping hotels benefit from our extraordinary reach.

“It means every hotel – whatever their size or budgets – can reach, market and sell to new and existing consumers.”

TravelClick vice president and general manager EZYield John Guilfoy said: “TravelClick is investing in a series of partnerships to expand and improve the quality of our connections and provide our hotel clients with more opportunities to increase bookings and ultimately revenue through online channels. The partnership with GTA is a prime example of this investment.

“With fast and reliable connections to GTA’s world-class channels, hotels can expand their reach and increase their business from travellers in key markets throughout the world.”
