Travel technology specialist Multicom is to unveil its new payment facility MultiCommerce at this year’s World Travel Market.

The Bristol-based firm has partnered with payments specialist software developer and provider of pre-paid virtual cards Ixaris which has integrated with MultiCommerce.

The online card payment processing facility is itself fully integrated with Multicom’s widely used FindandBook system and provides agents with a secure, reliable and competitive option when handling consumer payments.

It is also PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant with Multicom’s service provider compliance recently approved, confirming its payment card data and booking systems are secure and trustworthy.

MultiCommerce also offers ways to save on supplier payments in multiple currencies and provides detailed information allowing clients to effectively manage their cash flow.

In addition, MultiCommerce virtual cards offers improved security and fraud prevention and cheaper card processing rates for multi-channel payments by issuing a one off payment card for each transaction.
