Pegasus Solutions’ former senior vice president of IT global services Bill Rose has been named as chief information officer for the company.
He was appointed to the position by chief executive David Millili to help Pegasus’s nearly 100,000 global hotel clients “focus on the future”.
He said: “Bill has proven himself as both a capable leader and a forward-thinking IT professional.
“Helping hotels manoeuvre the world of distribution extends beyond overcomplicated technology strategy and jargon. Instead, Bill has consistently concentrated on creating the most use out of technology for our hotel clients – from onboarding and ongoing support to continuous development and improvement.”
Rose joined Pegasus in 2010 with more than 25 years of technical IT experience.
He has overseen enterprise architecture and quality assurance, product management, infrastructure and operations, and reservation systems development.
