Agents are being promised easier booking capability and vehicle price comparison with an upgraded Affordable Car Hire website.
Enhanced features allow users to find details about fuel policy, excess policy, airport location and availability.
New filters enable agents to search for car hire according to free additional drivers, number of passengers, supplier, car group, and GPS availability.
The site has also been integrated for use on travel software systems Dolphin, CSI Media, SABS/Micros, Traveltek, Vertical Systems, VIBE, Digital Trip, Multicom and Topdog.
The changes follow months of discussions with user groups to establish the refinements they would like to see,
Agents can book prestige vehicles, sports cars, motorhomes and a chauffeur drive service featuring executive cars including Rolls-Royces, Bentleys and Jaguars. Vans are also available for hire.
Online fact guides and car fleet guides are designed to help agents advise their customers on the best options.
Chief executive Angela Day said: “It’s absolutely essential that agents can help their customers quickly and easily so we have worked hard to make our new website even easier to navigate so that they can find all the information they need in the shortest time.
“The enhanced features mean that it will be far easier to compare between models and the other policies that the customer needs to be aware of.
“The new website retains the invaluable live chat feature, so that agents can contact us quickly if they have any queries, and they can still email for a quote. And of course, the agent training academy, incentives and competitions pages, which are always very popular, are still there.”
