Former Tui Travel IT delivery manager John Davies has joined software and services provider Open Destinations as senior vice president of projects.

Former Tui Travel IT delivery manager John Davies has joined software and services provider Open Destinations as senior vice president of projects.
He will lead project management teams across offices in London and Goa, working closely with customer projects covering both the front and back office.
The appointment is part of a large scale recruitment drive which has resulted in the company expanding to more than than 300 staff.
Founder and chief executive Kevin O’Sullivan described the new position as a pivotal point in the company’s growth.
“As our business grows we take on a greater number of complex projects. Having John on board allows us to refine and grow our project management,” he said.
Davies has begun a review of the existing processes and will be rolling out new systems and processes to support the firm’s continued growth.
Davies said: “It’s a rare opportunity to be part of a leadership team making advancements in the travel technology arena.
“I hope to bring a customer perspective to the table and support the evolution of a market-leading product.”
