Indian carrier Jet Airways and its wholly owned subsidiary Jet Lite have renewed a distribution deal with Travelport.

The multi-year agreement gives agents connected to Travelport GDSs continued access to the two carriers’ fares.

Jet Airways and Jet Lite together operate almost 550 daily flights to 72 destinations, within India and overseas.

Travelport’s global distribution sales and services vice president for the Asia Pacific region Damian Hickey, said the company was “excited about the regional opportunities in India as the airline industry continues to recover steadily following some recent instability”.
