Bookabed uses Facebook to engage agents

A Facebook recognition campaign and competition for UK agents has been instigated by Irish bedbank BookaBed.

Agents ‘liking’ the company’s page on the social network will be entered into a draw to win two nights at a four-star hotel in London.

The winner will be announced at the end of October as part of the ‘facebookabed’ campaign.

UK head of sales Darren Hall said: “The launch of is a great way of keeping our travel agent partners updated with all the exciting things we are doing, along with expanding our brand awareness in an informal & fun way.”
