Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding, the founders of Your Golf Travel, are encouraging the general public to put on their entrepreneurial hats to come up with a travel business idea for the Big Idea Competition.

Marshall said: “Andrew and I are look for someone with focus, drive and creativity, who can build a high growth new business among our group of companies.

“We feel this Big Idea Competition gives us the perfect platform to find that person.

“Disruptive entrepreneurs are great for all industries and the travel sector is no different. Travel for many years has been seen as a leading light in the on-line and technology space, which is driven by innovation, investment, passion for life as well as entrepreneurial spirit.”

Harding told Travolution the company would offer as much support to the winning entrepreneur as possible.

He said: “As a company, we have always actively encouraged our staff to adopt an entrepreneurial approach. We definitely believe it has improved not only our culture but people and the company as a whole.”

Your Golf Travel was set up in 2005, after Marshall and Harding decided to quite their City jobs in favour of the golf travel sector.

The company employs more than 150 staff in their offices in Farringdon which is complete with a golf simulator and bar which opens every Friday night.
