GTA completes first channel management integration with eRevMax

Kuoni’s hotel wholesaler GTA has integrated with eRevMax’s channel management through newly developed API connectivity.

Kuoni’s hotel wholesaler GTA has integrated with eRevMax’s channel management through newly-developed API connectivity.

The tie-up means hotels available through GTA can more closely manage their inventory and rates through all their routes to market.

It is the first channel management integration completed with GTA, eRevMax said.

Inventory will be available to tens of thousands of retailers which use the GTA booking systems worldwide.

Martin Jones, GTA’s senior vice president for global sourcing and product development, said: “Hotels rely on eRevMax solutions, including RateTiger & Connect, to make it easier for them to work with a wide range of distributors like ourselves and manage rates and allotments to present the most enticing offer to potential travellers.

“Now, with our new Supplier XML API, we are making it even easier for eRevMax to connect to our systems, helping hotels benefit from our extraordinary reach. It means every hotel – whatever their size or budgets – can reach, market and sell to new and existing consumers.”

ERevMax’s automated distribution technology allows hotels to update prices and inventory according to supply and demand changes across multiple sales channels.

Greg Berman, chief operating officer at eRevMax International, said: “This powerful and seamless ‘push’ integration will significantly reduce the time taken to update availability, rates and reservation data while ensuring customer data is entered accurately.

“The XML connectivity will result in more efficient rate distribution, enhanced rate optimisation and the streamlining of all connections.

“Hotels using the RateTiger Channel Management product suite and our Connect e-Distribution Gateway to update a range of rates and numerous channels in one step, and will make them immediately available to GTA’s clients.”

GTA sources properties from tens of thousands of travel suppliers in nearly 190 countries.

Its booking sites – GTA retail, TravelCube, Travel Bound and Octopus Travel retail, as well as GTA wholesale – and its XML system generate over 21,000 bookings every day.
