Leading bloggers are set to take to the stage as part of World Travel Market’s The Travel Tech Show.

The blogging programme, organised by Travel Bloggers Unite director Oliver Gradwell for the third time, will feature Keith Jenkins, Velvet Escapes; Janice Waugh, Solo Traveler; and Melvin Boecher, Traveldudes.

Jenkins will be speaking in a season called How Travel Bloggers Impact the Booking Funnel, being held on November 5. He will be joined on the panel by PR company FourBGB managing director Debbie Hindle.

Meanwhile, Waugh will speak in a session called Reveal the Digital Raconteur In You on November 6, having been involving in a number of leading travel blogging initiatives including writing a solo traveller handbook.

Boecher, whose blog has more than 136,000 followers on Twitter, will discuss whether it is possible to effectively measure travel blogger return on investment.

This year the programme is part of Travel Bloggers Unite London, which includes a tour of London and the UK for bloggers and the Travel Bloggy Awards.

Simon Press, director World Travel Market at Reed Exhibitions, said: “Travel blogging has exploded as a medium for destinations to promote their products through.

“WTM has facilitated communications and relationships between exhibitors and bloggers over the past couple of years.

“This year we will take this one stage further with our three-day comprehensive blogging programme. The programme is another example of how WTM both facilities business and educated its participants.

Gradwell said TBU were proud to be involved in the event and said the success of their relationship with WTM has “contributed to the growth of travel bloggers”.

The sessions will take place at the home of WTM, London ExCel convention centre.
