A newly-created global role of brand strategy vice president at TripAdvisor has been filled by advertising expert Anne Bologna.
She will lead the travel review site’s ‘brand vision’ efforts along with television and offline advertising, reporting to chief marketing officer Barbara Messing.
Bologna was previously managing director at New York-based advertising company MDC Partners and has worked with brands such as Starbucks, Virgin, Pepsi, Amazon Kindle and Citibank.
She said: “TripAdvisor is an extraordinary brand that’s uniquely powered its community of millions that continue to provide the lifeblood of the site. It’s a rare opportunity to be a part of a company as they embark on this important next stage.”
