Canadian travel application start-up Flee is the latest customer to implement B2B air fare search firm Vayant Travel Technologies’ second generation pricing cache solution.

Toronto-based Flee is using Pricing Cache to power its flexible fares search to provide destination recommendations based on users’ available budget and preferred travel dates.

The Flee cache includes around 136,000 bookable air combinations and is updated four times a day. Flights are then booked using a US OTAs private label programme.

Accommodation content and booking is provided by the Mr & Mrs Smith boutique hotels company.

Flee co-founder Zeïna Belouizdad said: “Vayant’s flexible Pricing Cache product has definitely reduced the barriers to entry for travel start-ups. Their product is fully customisable and scalable so that we can both grow with one another’s success.”

Vayant chief executive Eric Dumas added: “It is great to see Pricing Cache work just as well for a travel start-up as it does for huge businesses, like Hotelplan, another recent Vayant customer.”
