Itinerary management technology specialist Mantic Point claims to have seen its best ever quarter with revenues growing more than two-fold year on year.

The firm attributed the growth in the three months to March 31 to new TMC and travel agency customers it has signed up. The quarter-on-quarter increase in revenue was 70%.

Mantic Point also said its new integrated agency itinerary management tool i-TIM had seen phenomenal interest.

Mike Atherton, Mantic Point chief executive said: “I’m delighted with our latest set of results, which are testimony to Mantic Point’s continued investment and innovation in travel itinerary management.

“We are at the forefront of delivering the critical enterprise functionality demanded by TMC’s and travel agencies around the world. Latest innovations include the release of our integrated Traveller Itinerary Management system, i-TIM, and our continued development of the duty of care product for airline carriers.

“It is gratifying to see the positive reaction we continue to receive both from our TMC customers and from the wider agency community.”

Mantic Point added the first quarter of 2013 saw it reach two milestones: the launch of i-TIM and version 3.0 of the Carrier Duty of Care application which supports call centre productivity during times of disruption, decreasing inbound call traffic by targeted, proactive information to keep passengers informed.

“The interest in i-TIM has been phenomenal. Launched in Q1 we already have live customers for this product from around the world and we’ve been incredibly pleased by the demand for information from TMC’s and our partners,” said Atherton.
