TripAdvisor takeover spree continues with Niumba acquisition

TripAdvisor has continued a recent acquisitions spree with the takeover of Spanish holiday rentals site Niumba.com.

TripAdvisor has continued a recent acquisitions spree with the takeover of Spanish holiday rentals site Niumba.com.

Niumba features more than 230,000 properties globally and brings to TripAdvisor the world’s largest collection of Spanish vacation rentals with over 120,000 properties in the country.

Niumba will continue to operate as an independent brand and website from its offices in Madrid.

The company’s listings will remain on Niumba.com and will soon additionally be featured on TripAdvisor and Holiday Lettings.

Terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed, TripAdvisor said.

The deal follows last week’s purchase of CruiseWise and the app Tiny Post in March.
