Skyscanner is seeking to employ 20 of the best software developers in the UK and the rest of Europe.

The travel search site has enlisted the information technology division of Scottish recruitment firm Eden Scott to fill the vacancies.

A partnership between the two companies has seen two recruitment consultants based at the Skyscanner head office in Edinburgh.

The site’s global recruitment and resourcing manager David Hunter said: “This partnership will see us using social media and modern recruitment techniques in new ways to reach into technical talent pools to provide candidates with outstanding career opportunities at Skyscanner.”

Eden Scott director Mark Durham added: “Whilst this project will be challenging, we are confident we will be able to reach out and engage with the best talent throughout the world.

“The pooling of our digital expertise will allow both parties to highlight the opportunity and showcase for current job-seekers and passive candidates the combined power of Skyscanner as a superb employer brand, along with the added attraction of the move to Edinburgh and Scotland.”
