First Choice has teamed up with the Independent to produce a series of podcasts featuring the newspaper’s star travel editor Simon Calder.
The first podcast is being produced this month and will feature Calder and various senior people in the company discussing airports and aircraft.
Consumers will be able to download the podcasts and a trial videocast from the First Choice and the Independent websites, as well as on iTunes.
First Choice marketing director Tim Williamson said: “There are many podcast opportunities out there but a lot of them are not particularly engaging.
“In 15 minutes someone as good as Simon Calder can really inspire consumers,” he said.
