Price comparison site dealchecker.co.uk is looking to attract more cruise specialist agents as partners.

Recent improvements for the cruise section launched last spring include dedicated destination pages for different cruising regions including Norway, the Mediterranean and transatlantic among others.

The pages offer a tailored search on a specific destination, providing a brief introduction to the region, cruising highlights and practical tips on how to get the best value cruise from the featured region.

Flight tabs link users through to relevant offers and a dedicated deals column features the top five cruise offers, with further filters for last minute deals or cruises available throughout the year.

New dedicated cruise line pages offer users an impartial introduction to each company, including recommendations on the best itineraries and destinations, and a cruise line deals page.

Managing director Mark Attwell said: “We have had a great response to the cruise pages, launched early last year thanks to an exclusive partnership with independent cruise agents Imagine Cruising. This partnership continues to flourish but we are keen to build on this success and expand our portfolio of partners.

“Iglu Cruise has recently come on board and we hope to see others follow suit so we can offer dealcheckers more choice and great value cruise offers.”

Alice Marscotti-Wyatt, editor at dealchecker, added: “We have seen a good steady growth in traffic for travel partners from the cruise pages since their launch in the spring.

“The editorial team have been busy creating a number of targeted cruise mailings, these are distributed to a tailored database of dealcheckers who have shown a particular interest in cruise holidays. The targeted mailings have resulted in high quality leads for our cruise partners.”
