Major German tour operator Dertour is to start taking hotel inventory from UK wholesaler Jac Travel via the Pegasus Global Distribution System.

Major German tour operator Dertour is to start taking hotel inventory from UK wholesaler JacTravel via the Pegasus Global Distribution System.

The deal will see the operator establish an direct XML feed from JacTravel for its range of hand-picked city centre hotels.

Frank Götze, Dertour’s vice president city breaks and events, said: “I am very pleased with this deal, as JacTravel’s inventory will enable us to improve our offer in city centres by way of access to a portfolio of properties deliberately selected for their location and value for money.

“The fact that JacTravel has very long-standing relationships with most of them adds greatly to our sense of confidence.”

Alexis Dobbelaere, senior vice president, global sales for Pegasus Solutions, added: “In addition to providing foundational connectivity to the global distribution systems, Pegasus also helps hotels connect through alternative distributions systems like Dertour.
