Aggregator Travelfusion has added Spanish operator RENFE and Italian operator Trenitalia to its list of high speed rail providers.
The firm said the move comes amid growing demand for rail content as business and leisure travellers look to combine rail and flights bookings on one transaction.
Moshe Rafiah, Travelfusion chief executive, said: “Travelfusion’s rail API is an agile solution and we are delighted to announce a further two partners to our ever expanding list.
“High speed rail is burgeoning and with forecasts of passenger increases of up to 330 million by 2020 it would be madness not to make the most of this opportunity.
“We have a number of other partners in the pipeline which we hope to be able to announce shortly”
Travelfusion said its API offers a comprehensive fare search and allows all of its suppliers payment options including business to business payments.
A prepay option is available for rail suppliers that do not accept card payments.
