WTM 2012: Feefo showcases new products to encourage feedback and personalisation

Verified user review specialist Feefo showcased four developments to its product during World Travel Market last week.

A new blind copying system allows firms to copy Feefo in on booking confirmations rather than sending data like customer name, email and date of travel, via a feed.

This then prompts a feedback request email to be generated automatically as with Feefo’s core system.

Feefo said allowing its travel partners to blind copy the information will enable those with bespoke systems that cannot download data to use Feefo.

It is thought this is particularly an issue in the hotel sector.

The second new development allows businesses to add Feefo’s SmartLink functionality to their feedback request emails, enabling them to be more personalised to that customer.

Thirdly, Feefo has created an expert review guide allowing the business to invite their experts to comment on anything in their inventory.

And finally it has launched a questions and answer system. This allows customers to email a question while browsing or search recent Q&As from a list.

The business is then emailed a copy and their response goes directly to the customer and also into the Q&A list, automatically.
