CruiseCompare switches to CPC agent model and targets flash sales

UK cruise comparison website CruiseCompare.co.uk has brought in a new arrangement for its agent advertisers switching from commission to a cost per call model.

UK cruise comparison website CruiseCompare.co.uk has brought in a new arrangement for its agent advertisers switching from commission to a cost per call model.

The site has also announced the addition of Cruise Answers and Jetline Cruise to its existing portfolio of Cruise 118, Cruise Specialists, Iglu and Ideal Cruising

CruiseCompare also says flash sales will play a key role in the future marketing with customers offered deals for a limited period.

The comparison site said these have been successfully tested.

Tom Fotheringham, founder and chief executive, said the new agent model was a more simple partnership model.

“For many people, a cruise is their once in a lifetime dream holiday,” he said. “Others take half a dozen a year.  But with so many cruise lines offering a huge range of cruises and onboard facilities making a choice can sometimes be a little overwhelming.

“CruiseCompare.co.uk is the only website of its kind and lets users search and compare the entire cruise holiday market in seconds.

“We are hopeful that the introduction of three new agents to the site along with regular flash sales will only increase the CruiseCompare market presence.”

CruiseCompare features 10,00 deals and supplies offers to a number of national newspapers. Its Facebook page has attracted 54,000 fans.
