Mills to head up Expedia-owned Traveldoo’s new UK office
Former senior manager at Travelport and Amadeus, Julian Mills, is heading up a new UK arm of Traveldoo Technologies – a provider of web, mobile and expense platforms for business travel.
The setting up of Traveldoo UK reflects the firm’s strategy of expanding in key markets internationally following its acquisition by Expedia in December last year.
In addition to sales and marketing operations, the new office will provide local support and account management to its UK customers and travel management company partners.
Mills joined the company in September as director. He has over 20 years’ experience in the corporate, technology and airline industries.
His roles have included senior management positions with both Travelport and Amadeus. Most recently he worked for P&P Associates, the parent of software specialist Vibe.
While sales and marketing director at a leading travel management company he was responsible for launching the UK’s first corporate booking tool.
