Former PricewaterhouseCoopers corporate finance director Tom Howard has joined digital marketing agency Stickyeyes as chief financial officer.

His appointment marks the 100th hiring by the Leeds-based company which was founded by chief executive Craig Chalmers in 1996.

Heather Healy has also been promoted to the role of creative communications director as part of the company’s efforts to further develop its wider digital services.

The business, recently shortlisted for seven UK Search Awards, has more than doubled in size, revenue and employee headcount since 2008 and is forecasting further significant growth this financial year.

Chalmers said: “Tom’s appointment comes at a time when our business is growing faster than ever, and his experience of working successfully with fast-growing businesses will prove valuable to the senior team and wider business.

“We are on track to deliver yet another year of fantastic growth, and this appointment further demonstrates our agency’s commitment to attracting world-class talent from a diverse range of backgrounds.”

The firm, which was ranked as one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in the UK by the Sunday Times in 2011, opened a London office earlier this year to support an expanding client base, and plans for further expansion across the UK and internationally.
