Car hire and accommodation have this week been added to flight bookings available via BMI Regional’s website

Direct links from bmiregional.com have been created with Sixt and Booking.com.

Consumers can hire Sixt vehicles in all of the airline’s 32 destinations while Booking.com will give access to more than one million properties.

The carrier’s chief commercial officer, Jochen Schnadt, said: “The partnership with Sixt is all part of our ongoing growth strategy to improve our product offering and enable greater convenience for all passengers.

“Like Bmi Regional, Sixt is also an independent company – Sixt is family managed, and bmi privately owned – meaning both businesses can be nimble and innovative in meeting our combined clients’ needs.”

He continued: “We’ve added accommodation into the mix, thanks to a new deal with global giant Booking.com. Visitors to our website will have access to over one million properties around the world, including accommodation in all our destinations.”
