Germania dips into tour market through partnership with TripAdvisor’s Viator

Germania Airlines has teamed up with Trip Advisor company Viator as it dips its hand into the tours and activities market.

Beirut walking tours, Santa Claus village tours in Lapland (Rovaniemi), trips up Berlin’s iconic TV Tower, a trip to Tenerife’s volcanic Mount Teide National Park and Iceland’s Northern Lights are among the tours Viator provides at Germania destinations.

Customers who book flights with the airline will get prompts offering them deals in their confirmation emails and links to the tours on Viator’s website will be advertised on flygermania.com.

Germania already has similar partnerships with three car rentals firms and Booking.com for hotel reservations.

“Having recently commemorated 30 years of successful operations and looking ahead to launching interesting new destinations, now more than ever we are focused on providing our customers with opportunities to enjoy holidays with their families or explore new destinations,” said Paul Scodellaro, director sales for Germania.

“Giving our customers access to Viator’s market-leading selection of tours and activities is a great complement to the high level of service we strive to deliver to our travellers.”
