Qantas signs long term deal with Sabre

Qantas’s advance seat selection ancillary will be available for agents to book through Sabre as part of a renewed distribution deal.

The long term global content agreement enables agents using the GDS to continue to access all of the Australian carrier’s published fares, schedules and inventory including those sold through the airline’s website.

Sabre Asia Pacific vice president and general manager Hans Belle said: “Sabre was the first GDS to introduce branded fares merchandising with Qantas in 2007, so we are particularly delighted to announce the continuation of this agreement.”
