Amadeus announces new UK and Ireland marketing head

Amadeus has appointed former marketing director of rival GDS Sabre Rob Sinclair-Barnes as its new UK and Ireland marketing head.

Amadeus has appointed former marketing director of rival GDS Sabre Rob Sinclair-Barnes as its new UK and Ireland marketing head.


Based in Amadeus’s Crawley headquarters, Sinclair-Barnes will manage the customer engagement programme and IT product development planning strategy.


As a brand ambassador, he will also support Amadeus’s growth in other regions including western Europe, Africa and the Middle East.


Diane Bouzebiba, managing director of Amadeus UK and Ireland, said: “Rob’s wealth of expertise combined with his customer and market knowledge will be a huge asset to Amadeus.

Before joining Sabre Travel Network Sincvlair-Barnes was group head of publishing for First Choice Holidays and prior to that he held management roles at BBC Worldwide.
