Hotelbeds expands into Latin America with GHL partnership

Tui-owned Hotelbeds.com is to distribute 6,000 rooms in a deal with leading South American chain GHL Hoteles.

Tui-owned Hotelbeds.com is to distribute 6,000 rooms in a deal with leading South American chain GHL Hoteles.


More than 48 properties will be available in 27 destinations including Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Argentina.


GHL operates under international brands such as Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, Howard Johnson, Sonesta and Hilton Garden Inn.


The deal gives GHL access to Hotelbeds’ international client base of travel agents, airlines and tour operators from more than 100 source markets.


Hotelbeds’ Latin America and Caribbean regional director Christian Kremers said: “The new partnership with GHL is based on the success of our partnership with GHL in Colombia. We are delighted to extend this partnership across Latin America, bringing all of GHL products at the most competitive market rates and conditions to our customers.”
