The latest version of Inventive IT’s airport car park management and distribution system has been released with Peel Airports using it to develop its iPark website for Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The newest version of the Altitude system allows airport operators to create websites specifically to merchandise their airport parking through a more flexible content management system.

Inventive IT said the enhancements will give its customers an edge when it comes to competing against other offsite car parking options.

Nik Southworth, chief operating officer at Inventive IT said: “The creation of white label booking pages has been around for quite a while.

“Our new functionality builds on this, enabling airports to quickly and easily create new online brands to compete directly with off-airport parking providers.

“Peel Airports has utilised this new functionality to deliver their iPark branded website. Inventory and pricing across both the airport’s own brand and iPark can be managed centrally through the Altitude pre-booking system.

Combining new brand websites with our competitor price collection service gives our clients the tools they need to really compete with offsite parking providers.”

Inventive IT says websites can be tailored to requirements through Altitude including look and feel, tracking and keywords for SEO.

The firm said the Altitude customer journey has been given a more modern design and it is able to handle large scale web applications.

John Charnock, chief executive, said: “We’ve been involved in travel e-commerce for over 10 years and there are many lessons we’ve learned from the tour operating and hotel industries.

“We’re now applying these ideas to airport parking and it’s really helping to maximise the return our customers are seeing from their pre-booking websites”.
