Budget airline easyJet has strengthened its mobile presence with a new mobile optimised site in Europe.

Budget airline easyJet has strengthened its mobile presence with a new mobile optimised site in Europe.

The launch of m.easyjet.com comes six months after the airline unveiled its mobile app which has since been downloaded more than two million times.

The mobile site is optimised for Blackberry, Windows 7, iPhone and Android devices and offers users the ability to search and book, check flight information and manage bookings.

It is available in six languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch and requires no download of any additional software to use.

Peter Duffy, Marketing Director for easyJet, said: “The launch of our mobile optimised website builds on the success of our apps and will help more of our customers access the information they need on the move.

“We are still at the beginning of an exciting journey in mobile and plan many more customer-focused updates which will help make travel easier, particularly during the in-airport experience.”
