Singapore Airlines’ new low cost subsidiary Scoot has agreed a tie-up with Expedia Affiliate Network to enhance its website.

Singapore Airlines’ new low cost subsidiary Scoot has agreed a tie-up with Expedia Affiliate Network to enhance its website.

The low cost Asian carrier will use EAN’s Chameleon platform to provide hotels and user-generated content from TripAdvisor on the site. as part of a package of additional travel services.

The deal continues EAN’s expansion in the Asis Pacific region, following partnerships with Tiger Airways, Japan’s Jalan.net, Macau.com and Webjet.

The expansion has been complimented by growth in EAN’s hotel inventory in that region.

Scoot serves destinations in Australia, China and Thailand from its Singapore base.

Scoot chief executive Campbell Wilson said: “At FlyScoot.com, our guests can enjoy a one-stop service to book air tickets, add-on services such as baggage allowance, seats assignment, meals, inflight entertainment via iPads, blankets and eye-masks, ScootProtect Travel Insurance and now, affordable accommodation across all our destinations.

“We’re pleased to leverage EAN’s extensive hotel inventory and user-friendly booking engine, and we will continue to work with different partners to help our guests tailor their best value travel experience possible.”

EAN president Henrik Kjellberg described Scoot as one of the freshest brands to hit the aviation scene in many years.
