Awards to celebrate the best in travel blogging have been unveiled by Avis UK.
Nominations for The “A-List” Travel and Tourism Blog Awards are open until August 31.
A shortlist, decided by a team of travel experts, will be announced on the Avis blog on September 3.
Voting will then open to consumers, who will have until September 30 to nominate their favourites.The winner of each category and overall winner will be announced on October 1.
Bloggers can nominate their blogs by visiting the Avis blog and register for the category they want to enter. The categories include travel photography, culinary delights and eco-tourism to extreme adventure and walking.
Avis Budget UK head of marketing and intermediaries Darren Peacock said: “We are immensely excited and proud to be launching these awards and hope it will bring well-deserved recognition to those bloggers who inspire and excite travellers with their creative and educational content.
“We look forward to reviewing the shortlisted sites and letting the voting public decide on the overall winners.”
