Last minute luxury hotel bookings application JustBook is expanding into the UK after its launch in Germany.
The company claims to publish the most attractive room deals from a network of hotels each day between midday and 2am with discounts of up to 50%.
The free to download app lists rooms in three participating hotels per city, which are individually selected. Rooms are placed into one of four simple categories — Luxury, Upscale, Design and Comfort.
JustBook is launching on all three major smartphone platforms — iPhone, Blackberry and Android — and has a database of hundreds of luxury hotels in 30 European cities.
JustBook is initially sourcing rooms in London only but plans to add hotels from other UK cities.
The company claims all the deals available via JustBook are exclusive to users of the app and cannot be found elsewhere on the internet.
JustBook has been downloaded more than 80,000 times in Germany.
Founder Stefan Menden said: “The JustBook app is already very popular in Germany and we hope to replicate this success in the UK, which was always our next priority.
“JustBook is a simple app aimed at discerning travellers and businesspeople whose plans have changed at the last minute, haven’t got the time or inclination to trawl the internet but at the same time expect the highest standards from their accommodation.
“Mobile technology is empowering people in many aspects of their lives and we like to think JustBook makes booking a high-end hotel room at low prices at the very last minute easier than it has ever been before.
“With the Olympics only weeks away, it will come in particularly handy as availability and prices are likely to be extremely unpredictable.”
