EZE Group sells travel business

Membership-based entertainment, travel and leisure company EZE Group has sold its travel business to Everywhere Limited for an undisclosed sum.

Membership-based entertainment, travel and leisure company EZE Group has sold its travel business to Everywhere Limited for an undisclosed sum.


The deal will see Everywhere Travel take over travel fulfilment operations for EZE Group and its members who can access benefits such as holidays, theatre tickets, experience days and sporting events.


Everywhere Travel will benefit from Abta/Atol bonding cover as a result of an affiliated partnership with JDA which has been working with EZE Group to develop its travel business over the last six months.


JDA recently become part of the Abta/Atol bonded travel consortium formed by Midcounties Co-op Travel.


Everywhere Travel, owned by entreprenueur Andrew Moules, will continue to work in partnership with JDA from its base in Broad Street, Birmingham.


The operation will be led by Stephanie O’Reilly, who has been working for EZE Group’s travel arm for six years.


EZE Group, which has European operations in Tenerife and Birmingham, claims to have has grown its membership base by 300% in the past year and extended the range of activities, destinations and pursuits it offers.


The company became official travel, leisure and entertainment partners to Birmingham City Football Club last August.


European chief executive Dominic O’Reilly said: “Over recent months we have been able to strengthen our travel proposition for members by forming a strategic alliance with JDA and Everywhere Travel will be able to further leverage this knowledge, expertise and contacts.


“The sale of our travel fulfilment business will also enable us to focus on marketing and servicing our growing membership base.”


Moules, managing director of Everywhere Ltd, said: “This acquisition is a good fit for our existing business and through Stephanie and her team we will be looking to further expand the Birmingham based travel operation in order to service the growing EZE Group membership base and our other clients.”
