The company claims to have broken away from conventional redesign, which founder and chief executive Omri Amir says many companies stick to for fear of a backlash from users who don’t want too many changes. He said if companies follow a design process based around users, they can launch a more revolutionary redesign.

“The landscape is changing from dinosaur hotel directories to a place where the customer is in the lead. You can’t get away with any website and service based on search engine optimization anymore; customers demand a new approach in web design that we will pursue in the years to come,” said Amir.

The Facebook fans tested mock-up pages. The new design includes bigger photos of hotels, attractions and destinations, clearer buttons and guidance.
