More than 300 members of Preferred Hotel Group have enabled the online booking engine from Sabre Hospitality Solutions, which has been adopted extensively over the last year.


The Mobile Guest Connect booking engine is designed to enhance customer experience on mobile devices.

By 2015, mobile shoppers are predicted to spend £74 billion globally on goods and services, making mobile tools such as the Guest Connect a key resource for the future.


Michelle Woodley, senior vice president of distribution and revenue management at Preferred Hotel Group, said: “Making hotel reservations via mobile devices is a growing trend, and we are excited to provide our members with another meaningful channel to capture bookings.


Sabre launched the Mobile Guest Connect booking engine in 2011, to help hotels keep up to date with mobile spending.


The Guest Connect engine also offers mobile only rates and packages.
