Icelandair and Amadeus renew IT partnership until 2022
Amadeus and Icelandair announced on Monday they have renewed their long-term IT partnership for an additional ten years.
The agreement will cover core IT solutions including departure control and the e-Ticket server.
Icelandair will also adopt Amadeus’ services solution to support multichannel sales of products and the EMD server, used for processing Iata’s Electronic Miscellaneous Documents, allowing for the efficient processing of service sales.
The previous IT agreement was signed in 2006 and the renewal will allow both companies to maintain a strong partnership.
