The partner swapping has continued in the world of budget airlines and hotel room providers with easyJet announcing a deal with Booking.com, Ryanair’s previous supplier.

The Irish low cost carrier now uses HotelsCombined for accommodation while Booking.com’s deal with easyJet replaces a previous arrangement with Laterooms.

From this month easyJet and Priceline-owned Booking.com will make more than 200,000 properties available for the airline’s customers to book.

Customers will be able to choose from Booking.com’s accommodation service via a reservation tool on the easyJet website.

Catherine Lynn, easyJet customer and revenue director, said: “We are really pleased to announce our collaboration with Booking.com. We are sure it will be popular with our customers.

“It will enable our customers to choose from a wider range of Europe’s leading hotels, with greater flexibility and at guaranteed, best-available prices.”

EasyJet added the deal will enhance booking options such as “Pay after you Stay”.

Booking.com chief marketing officer, Paul Hennessy, said: “Booking.com will make it easier and more engaging for easyJet customers to get the best hotel prices on hundreds of thousands of hotels and accommodation worldwide.”

Over 120,000 properties are in easyJet destinations.
