I Spy Marketing has promoted Nishma Robb and Chris Speed to become partners in the business to manage further growth of the digital marketing agency.

Robb was previously business development and marketing director. She was taken on a year ago to increase I Spy’s natural and paid search, display, social media, mobile marketing and conversion optimisation after enjoying high-profile roles at Travelzest and Teletext Holidays.

Speed, who joined the company five years ago from Visit Britain, was previously operations director for I Spy.

Chief executive Jim Brigden said the company had grown quickly over recent years, adding more than 30 staff to its team. Its growth over the last three years has been attributed in part to the development of its Facebook advertising management technology Upcast.

Brigden added: “To enable us to continue to grow efficiently we need to attract and retain the best quality team members and Nishma and Chris have been instrumental in driving and delivering I Spy’s growth. By promoting them both and giving them broader remits we will be able to continue to drive Uptimisation and lead the UK digital agency market.”

I Spy took sixth place in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 in September last year and works with several leading travel brands, including Teletext Holidays and On The Beach, for which it has achieved significant results through advertising on Facebook.

Nishma, who was named in Travolution’s 2007 Powerful People Edition, said: “It’s a great time to be part of the agency. Our developments in social advertising, the search results we’re delivering for our clients as well as our recent wins, really do showcase our knowledge of the retail and fashion industry. Our enthusiasm and experience in the travel sector is also a real highlight for us as we are continually developing stronger relationships within that industry.”
