Uniglobe renews Amadeus contract

Global travel franchise Uniglobe Travel has struck a five-year distribution and IT solutions deal with Amadeus.

Global travel franchise Uniglobe Travel has struck a five-year distribution and IT solutions deal with Amadeus.


The contract renewal will extend the agency group’s access to Amadeus’ inventory of 430 bookable airlines, 110,000 hotels, 30 car rental companies and 22 cruise lines.


The agreement covers countries including the UK, India, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Slovenia and South Africa.


The two companies will continue to work together as part of a long-term strategic technology partnership to offer specialised travel services to mid-sized corporate accounts and holidaymakers.


Uniglobe president and chief operating officer Martin Charlwood aid: “Using Amadeus technology, we can continue to broaden our global industry presence while maintaining distinct customer service tailored to local markets across the 60 countries in which we do business.
