TripIt upgrades Android offering

Mobile trip organiser Tripit has upgraded its offering through the Android Marketplace.

Mobile trip organiser Tripit has upgraded its offering through Google Play (formerly Android Marketplace).

The update gives travellers with Android tablets access to their journey plans, along with interactive maps.

When the user selects a flight, the airport location will light up on the map, and they can choose to get directions instantly.

Travellers can explore their itineraries in two layers simultaneously to access details such as confirmation numbers or seat assignments, while maintaining an eye on the full trip schedule.

The other option is to view a list of all trips, alongside a single itinerary in either landscape or portrait mode.

TripIt is available for Android devices, as well as iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone.
