The world’s biggest travel review site Tripadvisor is now able to show live pricing for campsites in Europe having tied up a deal with I Spy Camping.

The deal means that prices have started to appear alongside reviews of 250 campsites in France, Germany and Italy.

I Spy Camping plans to roll this out in a few weeks to cover all of its 650 locations, including sites in Portugal and Croatia.

The service went live on January 24, with Tripadvisor claiming it will allow visitors to more easily compare and find camping holidays.

I Spy Camping shows holidays from around 20 operators in the UK, France and Holland, so visitors can compare a range of campsite offers and availability at a glance.

Operators include French and Dutch companies such as Vagues Oceanes, Mistercamp, Village Center and Vacances Directes and well known UK brands such as Eurocamp, Keycamp and Canvas.

Will Goodridge, I Spy Camping founder, said: “Our aim is to make finding and booking a camping holiday in Europe easy by cutting the time it takes to research a holiday.

“Our partnership with TripAdvisor means that anyone using independent reviews to find their ideal destination can also access the latest pricing, availability and destination information from a wide range of operators within seconds.”

I Spy Camping said it is on the lookout for more website partners to promote camping and mobile home holidays in Europe.

Goodridge added: “Our white label content system allows approved partners to host up to 150,000 camping holidays in five European countries on their website and earn a share of the revenue.

“This is a great opportunity for websites that promote cross-Channel transport, holidays and family themes to make money in the popular camping sector.”
